The Morning Stool

sweet-brown-meme-generator-ain-t-nobody-got-time-for-that-8a65dcHoly shit, this was the shortest weekend ever.  It might have helped that my work had a Sunday morning 6am meeting.  I’ll go ahead and answer a few questions you may have about the people who would allow such a thing.  Yes, they are all assholes.  Yes, they DO all worship Satan.  Now that we have that out of the way, they did serve us a good breakfast, and we all got our bonus checks, so it wasn’t a waste of time.  At the end, someone thought it would be a good idea to have an Easter Egg hunt.  I was not amused, and I also couldn’t believe seeing all the lemmings run around looking for fucking Easter Eggs, I mean we’re all supposed to be adults.

On the gaming front this weekend, I pretty much, OK I only played Lego City Undercover this weekend, in hopes of completing it by my deadline of Tuesday morning for review.  I lego city boxarthonestly don’t think I am going to make it, I am only on Chapter 9 of 15, so it pretty much looks impossible.  I may stop editing video for YouTube in an effort of getting the game done, but I also want to make sure I get all the videos done as well, so I have some tough choices to make.  Overall, I am really enjoying the game, and I cannot wait to review it in a few days.

Next week, and HOPEFULLY finally, Bioshock Infinite is supposed to be released.  For those of you who have been around since the beginning, you might know I have called this game “The Game That Will Never Come Out.”  Now, in two days the game will be released, but I’m still holding out hope that something catastrophic will happen that will prevent the release.  Not because I hate the game, but more because I hate being wrong.  As far as the game goes, I really cannot wait to play it, and I’m hoping that GameFly will come through, I have it in my que for both the PS3 and 360, in hopes that if they’re out of one, I’ll get the other.  We’ll see.

chew_vol3_coverOn Sunday, after the meeting and subsequent nap, I did my usual Sunday afternoon trip to the Comic Book Store.  As some of you may know, on Sundays I go to the Comic Book Store that our writer, Oloff, works at.  I’ve focused some of my downtime on Video Games, this week, to reading some of the backlog that I’ve quickly built up.  I am really enjoying all the series I am reading, but, unfortunately, this week none of my series had anything come out.  I could have started something new, but I resisted in hopes of starting something next week, but I did end up getting the second Graphic Novel of Chew.  I am about half way through the first GN, and I am wholeheartedly enjoying it.  If you haven’t heard of it, search for it on our website, and you’ll find that Oloff has given a pretty thorough synopsis of it, as he’s a great fan as well.  Next week sees a bunch of my stories being continued, so I was smart to save my money.

Well, that will just about do it for this blog, please be good to each other.
