Found On The InterNERD: Balloon Art

Welcome back InterNERD fans. This week it’s all about balloon art, and not just the simple dogs that creepy clowns make for kids. Nope, balloon sculptures have come a long way. These artists twist and create awesome pieces for all to enjoy. Here are the coolest, nerdiest balloon art I found on the InterNERD.

Balloon Gizmo. I still wouldn’t get him wet or feed him after midnight. This Gizmo balloon is top notch. Made by artist Brian Garner, he is actually available for hire at events. His contact info and balloon gallery can be found at

Balloon Iron Man. Showing off that you don’t need many balloons to make something cool. This Iron man was done by Bruce Bills, you can check out his Flickr gallery for more cool creations.

Balloon Tauren Warrior. I didn’t know what a Tauren Warrior was, but if you play World Of Warcraft you probably know. This impressive sculpture is 6′ tall! Created by Brian Gutz, he talks about it on the mbd2 forum.

Balloon Swedish Chef. This one is pretty amazing, the Swedish Chef from the Muppets has the best menu. Served up by Susanne from Black Cat Balloon Company, check out her work, she specializes in all that is Muppets!

Balloon Shire. Jeremy Telford created a whole room to look like the Lord Of The Rings house from the Shire. The Hobbit abode took 3 days and 2600 balloons, that’s dedication! Check out this time-elapsed video.

Balloon Link. Link is looking ready for action. Awesome detail in this, even the triforce on the shield is represented.

Balloon Dalek. The Dr. Who blood-thirsty Daleks look very cuddly as balloons. This is actually a costume made by Patricia Balloona, check out her Facebook page for more awesome work.

Balloon Futurama. These are great, Bender and Zoidberg are balloonified! Created by Jami from– check out her awesome work on her Facebook page too.

So many great artists twisting balloons and making nerdy creations. If you have a nerdy balloon sculpture of your own, share them with us at or through our Facebook page. Like us and subscribe to our YouTube page to be part of our community! Tune in next week to get your nerd fix.
