Found On The InterNERD: Nerdy Cakes Part 4

Welcome back to the InterNERD friends! Cakes are put out for special occasions, and this is a special day for TheNerdFilter. This is the first time a FOTI has hit a Part 4! We have done the original Nerdy CakesPart 2Part 3, and even a Halloween Cakes. So come grab a slice of artful nerdy cake with us. Here are the coolest, nerdiest cakes I found on the InterNERD.

Mystery Machine Cake. Zoinks! The Mystery Machine that drives around Scooby-Doo and the gang looks great as a cake. This was created by, check out her site for more amazing cakes.

Breaking Bad Cake. This is fantastic! The mangled stuff animal that was foreshadowed throughout season 2 is created here.

Sloth Cake Pops. Hey you guys! These were created for a Goonies birthday party for a lucky 4 year old. You can check out all the Goonies party swag they made on this blog.

Batman Wedding Cake. Now this is compromise! Or maybe the husband just sneaked it past the bride.

John Carpenter’s The Thing Cake. Oh man! The classic 80′s horror film The Thing was groundbreaking for visual effects. This gruesome cake was created by artist Vicky Knoop.

Fantastic Four The Thing Cake. Another The Thing, only this time a superhero! Ben Grimm and his team have been around since the 60′s. I wonder if The Thing cake is made out of rock candy.

Swamp Thing Cake. At last another Thing, only this time Swamp Thing! I like the vines going around the edges of the traditional cake style.

Gizmo Cake. The cute little Mogwai from Gremlins looking adorable. Great execution making him look fury!

Beetlejuice Cake. This one is so rad! Harry the Head-Hunter from Beetlejuice was created by Natalie Sideserf. You can check out many other Tim Burton cake creations on!

Bob’s Burgers Cake. Haha, a burger cake was created inspired by the cartoon Bob’s Burgers. I love the menu sign on top.

Stormtrooper Cake. This is truly incredible! A life-size Star Wars Stormtrooper was made for a sci-fi convention. The cake was 6’4″ and served over 300 people! Cake artist Amanda Oakleaf and her bakery created this masterpiece. Check out her official site.
