Howdy kiddos, it’s InterNERD time again! We have showcased a bunch of cakes here on TheNerdFilter before and well we kinda got a sweet tooth. We are keeping the dentists in business because we are going back for thirds! Yep, we have done Nerdy Cakes and Nerdy Cakes Part 2. So much amazing edible artworks are created, we had to bring you Part 3. Here are the coolest, nerdiest cakes I found on the InterNERD.
Gollum Cake. The bi-polar Lord Of The Rings weirdo finally got his precious.
Mario Cake. This cake is pretty cool, having Mario in 8-bit form. This was created by a South African bakery called Ginger Pops, specializing in awesome cakes.
Boba Fett Cake. The Star Wars bounty hunter sure looks good as a cake, even though he looks a little squished.
Simpson’s Cupcakes. Such a great idea for these Simpson’s cupcakes. The Duff beer can looks so cool. These were done by Tiffany’s Baking Co.
Harley Quinn Cake. I like the simplistic look on this Harley.
Game Of Thrones Cake. An awesome design for this G.O.T. cake, great execution.
Zombie Wedding Cake. Oh man, this bride and groom are awesome zombie killers. This is also a good use of a lawnmower.
Planet Express Ship Cake. Nice, the Futurama Planet Express ship is ready to deliver some cake. This was created by Australian Cakery by K-Belle.
Tardis Cake. The Doctor Who time machine looking sweet as a cake.
Minecraft Cake. The video game juggernaut that is Minecraft is represented in cake. Although some terrain looks like Rice Krispy treats and Jell-O!
Adventure Time Cake. Looking good in cake form, all the characters from the Land of Ooo. I wonder if Princess Bubblegum is made of bubblegum?
Welcome back to the InterNERD friends! We have done FOTI Nerdy Cakes, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, and now a seventh edition. Holy cow that’s a lot of cakes! Check out all the past articles, we have built up a pretty impressive archive. Here are the coolest, nerdiest cakes I found on the InterNERD.
Legend of Zelda Cake. The classic video game just had it’s 30th anniversary! Here is a Hylian Shield cake that is top notch.
Animal Cake. The most rock-n-roll Muppet of all time, complete with a full drumset! Very cool.
Paleontology Cake. A rad cake for any paleo-nerds! I would dig into a piece.
Gremlin Cake. Oh ya! I love Gremlins, and this cake rules. Stripe, the mohawk gremlin, looking menacing in a bucket of popcorn!
Ice Age Cake. Can’t say I’m an Ice Age fan, but I do know the best thing about the movies is Scrat the prehistoric squirrel! On an endless quest for an acorn.
KFC Cake. Haha, I want to meet the 12 year old kid that loves KFC so much he got this cake for his birthday. I’m guessing the first thing he said was: “pffft Mom, KFC doesn’t have fries!”
Venom Cake. One of the coolest villains in comic history– Venom! A good looking head cake.
Whiskey Cake. We all have that friend who would rather have some Jack then a piece of cake, well here is a good compromise.
Street Fighter Cake. This one is rad! Not only does it have a Street Fighter theme, but it has an arcade joystick and buttons! Great idea.
Captain America Shield Cake. A sweet cake with the inside actually looking like an American flag! There is also a video of how they made the inside. It actually doesn’t look that hard, but I know I’d mess it up.

Freddy Krueger Cake. Off the heels of the passing of horror master Wes Craven, here is a behind the scenes photo of Freddy himself- Robert Englund cutting a rad Nightmare On Elm Street cake. RIP Wes, thanks for the nightmares!
Pig the Cat Cake. I haven’t seen Home the animated movie, but I have had the Home chicken nuggets. This amazing Pig cake was created by talented Fernanda Abarca. She is an animator for Dreamworks, plus she makes these phenomenal cakes!
Rick and Morty Cake. The hilarious Rick and Morty cartoon on Adult Swim is worth watching. I love the look on Morty’s face here.
Robocop Cake. Dead or alive your coming with me! Aw yeah, this Robocop cake rules.
Baymax Cake. The lovable Baymax from Pixar’s Big Hero 6 looks sweet as a cake! This was created by K Noelle Cakes.
Wreck It Ralph Cupcakes. Another Pixar film inspired creation, only this time in cupcake form!
Mythbusters Cake. Adam and Jamie are probably going to dedicate a show on busting the possibilities of being on a cake now.
Rocko’s Modern Life Cake. One of Nickelodeon’s best cartoons of all time– Rocko!
Awesome Mix-Tape Cake. Oh yeah, the Awesome Mix Vol. 1 from Guardians of the Galaxy played such a great role in the film. Can’t wait for GOTG2!
Jake the Alligator Man Cake. This local legend probably looks familiar if you are from Washington state or have passed through Long Beach, WA. This creepy cake was created by Barbarann Kym. Check out her Twitter for more awesome creations!

Breaking Bad Cake. This is fantastic! The mangled stuff animal that was foreshadowed throughout season 2 is created here.
Sloth Cake Pops. Hey you guys! These were created for a Goonies birthday party for a lucky 4 year old. You can check out all the Goonies party swag they made on this blog.
Batman Wedding Cake. Now this is compromise! Or maybe the husband just sneaked it past the bride.
John Carpenter’s The Thing Cake. Oh man! The classic 80′s horror film The Thing was groundbreaking for visual effects. This gruesome cake was created by artist Vicky Knoop.
Fantastic Four The Thing Cake. Another The Thing, only this time a superhero! Ben Grimm and his team have been around since the 60′s. I wonder if The Thing cake is made out of rock candy.
Swamp Thing Cake. At last another Thing, only this time Swamp Thing! I like the vines going around the edges of the traditional cake style.
Gizmo Cake. The cute little Mogwai from Gremlins looking adorable. Great execution making him look fury!
Beetlejuice Cake. This one is so rad! Harry the Head-Hunter from Beetlejuice was created by Natalie Sideserf. You can check out many other Tim Burton cake creations on cakenweenie.com!
Bob’s Burgers Cake. Haha, a burger cake was created inspired by the cartoon Bob’s Burgers. I love the menu sign on top.
Stormtrooper Cake. This is truly incredible! A life-size Star Wars Stormtrooper was made for a sci-fi convention. The cake was 6’4″ and served over 300 people! Cake artist Amanda Oakleaf and her bakery created this masterpiece. Check out her official site.
