Found On The InterNERD: Toast Art

Hey kiddies, it’s InterNERD time! The practice of toasting sliced bread has been around since the 1870′s. Toasting it would make it last longer and you’d be able to carry it with you easier on long journeys. Nowadays we toast bread cause it’s delicious! So warm and crispy. There are several people getting creative with their toast. Here are the coolest, nerdiest toast art I found on the InterNERD.

Toaster Toast. Surprising a vortex from another dimension didn’t open up and destroy the Earth when this was created! Artist Ingrid Falk and Gustavi Aguerre made this giant masterpiece using over 3,000 pieces of toast!


Pac-Man Toast. A great technique using stencils and your oven. Check out the how-to and you can easily make Pac-Man and the ghosts for breakfast.


Hawking Toast. Professor Stephen Hawking here on a crispy piece of toast. They probably used his theory of space and toast expansion.


Pikachu Toast. The Pokemon classic character Pikachu is burnt into action. Butter I choose you!


Nintendo DS Toast. Awesome design making this look like the handheld. Now try not to play with your food.


Peter Jackson Toast. The director of Lord Of The Rings is finally immortalized in toast! This was created by toast artist Maurice Bennett, check out his website for other amazing toastings.


VHS Toast. Finally a good way to upcycle your old VCR you have laying around. Instrucables user lemonie has made an actual toaster out of a VCR and it makes VHS toast! Check out the 8 step how-to!
