Hyperloop: Latest In Travel Technology

This week a proposal for a revolutionary new way to travel called the Hyperloop was purposed. Invented by Elon Musk, co-founder of Tesla Motors and SpaceX. The Hyperloop proposal was to link Los Angeles and San Francisco, taking only 30 minutes each way. The new transportation system looks like the pneumatic tubes from Futurama. Hyperloop is said to be a cross between a bullet train and an airplane. The capsules carrying passengers and cargo would go an impressive 760 mph. There are a lot of skeptics out there that don’t want this to see the light of day, especially after Musk said it would take 6 billion to get the project off the ground. However Musk also believes each way would cost no more than $20 dollars. That is pretty remarkable for a 380 mile trip.
